At first glance, SPUTNIK's premise appears to rip off ALIEN but the Russian sci-fi only borrows that concept and elevates into something more original. Don't come looking for an action-filled movie, however, it will have you on the edge of your seat.

The young actor lost the role of SPIDER-MAN to Tom Holland, but everything happens for a reason, and perhaps his path was a different one. The virgin. The floozy. A sex-starved teen and the jock, all walk into a cabin in the woods, and one by one they die a horrible death. MURDER IN THE WOODS is just like every other teen slasher movie out there except this one stars a Latinx cast, and written and directed by Latinx filmmakers. Usually I'd applaud the effort, but sadly MURDER IN THE WOODS is a carbon copy of past movies, and a missed opportunity to inject new life into the slasher/horror genre with Latinx flavor.
Remember "The Star Wars Holiday Special" back in 1978? Disney has announced a follow-up to the Holiday special in LEGO form for Disney+ airing Tuesday, November 17. The cast of the new STAR WARS movies will return in an animated version in the "LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special.” The Disney press release reveals the story directly follows the events of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, so in a way we're getting a sequel.
