To kick off Lent, the studio behind THE LAST EXORCISM PART II launched a 3D movie poster warning you not to give up horror movies for the religious holiday.

During Lent, Catholics promise to fast or give up certain vices or luxuries starting on Ash Wednesday up to Easter Sunday.  Taking advantage of the annual religious event, a Spanish marketing campaign using a 3D movie poster for THE LAST EXORCISM PART II kicked off on Ash Wednesday (Feb. 13).   The interactive one-sheet starts off with a cross which melts into an image of a woman hanging in terror with a tagline in Spanish.  Translated the line means "This Lent Don't Sacrifice Horror Movies."

While most people would find it sacrilegious to play with demonic themes, it is after all entertainment .

THE LAST EXORCISM PART II possesses movie theaters starting March 1, 2013.

Official Synopsis: Continuing where the first film left off, Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. Back in the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell realizes that she can't remember entire portions of the previous months only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning.
