Fighter Bios:

Mayweather
The undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr., (44-0, 26 KO's), an eight-time world champion in five weight divisions, remains boxing's biggest attraction, wowing crowds and generating record pay-per-view numbers each time he steps into the ring. During his extraordinary career, he has amassed wins over world champions such as Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Oscar de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto and

Robert Guerrero.
His last fight against four-division world champion Robert Guerrero on May 4, 2013 not only showed his superior boxing skills, but it also revealed his determination and dedication to stay the best in the sport.
He is also no stranger to appearing on the classic Mexican celebratory weekends such as Cinco de Mayo and Mexican Independence Day as his fight with Canelo will mark the seventh fight of his career to land on one of those weekends. Mayweather returns to face Canelo in an attempt to capture his 9th, 10th & 11th world championships.

Canelo
With his red hair and freckles, baby-faced Saul Alvarez may not appear to be your typical Mexican warrior, but one look at the hard-hitting WBA & WBC Super Welterweight World Champion in the ring, and it’s clear that he is following firmly in the footsteps of many Mexican greats.
Since his pro debut in 2005, the Guadalajara native has kept up a ferocious fight pace and an undeniable streak of destruction, landing him a record of 42-0-1 with 30 knockouts. At just 23 years old, Canelo has solidified himself as a Mexican superstar: beloved by fans and feared by fellow boxers. Furthermore, Canelo’s fights have been some of the highest rated programs in Mexico, often out-rating the Mexican National Soccer Team!

Garcia
Philadelphia’s Danny “Swift” Garcia (26-0, 16 KO’s) has been boxing’s breakout star of 2012, and a top candidate for Fighter of the Year honors as a result of his spectacular performances on the sport’s biggest stages.  A top prospect and contender in the years leading up to 2012, the 25-year-old has knocked out some of boxing’s brightest stars & legends in Erik Morales, British Superstar Amir Khan & one of New York’s most accomplished boxers of all time, Brooklyn’s Zab “Super” Judah.

Matthyse
Argentina’s Lucas Matthysse (34-2, 32 KO’s) strikes fear in his opponents hearts and has  been spectacular of late including six straight victories, with all of those wins coming by way of knockout. In his most recent & perhaps his most stunning victory, Matthysse scored a third round technical knockout against the IBF Junior Welterweight World Champion Lamont Peterson, solidifying his position as one of the top ten best pound for pound fighters in the world. Now, “The Machine” looks to keep his 94% knockout ratio and shatter the undefeated record of unified champ Danny Garcia.
