Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Ben Foster (Contraband) star in AIN'T THEM BODIES SAINTS, a film developed at the Sundance Institute by writer/director by David Lowery. CineMovie sits down with the stars and filmmaker behind the drama.

Set in the backdrop of 1970's Texas, Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck play a husband and wife outlaw team. After a shoot out with sheriffs, Bob goes to jail while Ruth gives birth to their child and raises her alone.  Ben Foster enters the picture as a local sheriff named Patrick Wheeler and falls for Ruth. Bob escapes jail in desperation to be with his bride and child, but the love triangle is about to get nasty.

AIN'T THEM BODIES SAINTS is David Lowery's second feature film. The writer-director developed the project at the Sundance Institute's Writing and Producing Labs and the film received the U.S. Dramatic Cinematography Award at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival where it was picked up for distribution.
