The second trailer for Sam Raimi’s reboot of POLTERGEIST has arrived, and that scary clown that haunted my dreams as a child is even freakier in this modern retelling. The clown even gets his own character movie poster.
Starring Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt and Jared Harris, filmmaker Sam Raimi (“Spiderman”, “Evil Dead”, “The Grudge”) and director Gil Kenan (“Monster House”) modernize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.
POLTERGEIST opens May 22.
