Like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jesse Ventura and Jon Cena, David Bautista is the latest wrestler to join the acting troupe. David tells CineMovie his experience in the ring didn't help in transitioning from action in the ring to action on screen. Bautista says it's "nothing like wrestling, doesn't even come close." He adds that wrestling is "a lot more physical" than action on film as there are a lot of angles and he got to use his martial art skills that he never had use for in the wrestling world.
In THE SCORPION KING 3: BATTLE FOR REDEMPTION, David Bautista takes on the role of Argomael, a ghost warrior brought back from the dead to help Billy Zane's character Talus. In regards to the acting, again the theatrics in wrestling has no bearing on his acting as his on screen performance is much more intimate than being in a ring surrounded by screaming fans.
In THE SCORPION KING 3: BATTLE FOR REDEMPTION, Victor Webster takes over the role of Mathayus aka Scorpion King as he returns to battle for his empire. THE SCORPION KING 3: BATTLE FOR REDEMPTION is on DVD and Blu-ray January 10th.
