Sony Pictures' past and future Marvel films like the SPIDER-MAN franchise and other popular titles are headed to Disney properties such as Disney+ and Hulu after their theatrical and pay tv windows. Sony's theatrical releases from 2022 to 2026 are included in the deal that signifies that Sony Pictures Entertainment are not following in other studios' footsteps in starting their own streaming service.

Dwayne Johnson announced Sunday BLACK ADAM will arrive summer of 2022 while Lionsgate's THE HITMAN'S WIFE'S BODYGUARD will hit the big screen this summer.

Amazon Studios announced Aaron Sorkin’s drama BEING THE RICARDOS has begun principle photography with Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem playing television's iconic couple. Kidman will play I Love Lucy's beloved red-head and Bardem the Cuban band leader with J.K. Simmons portraying actor William Frawley, their on screen neighbor Fred, and Nina Arianda is Ethel/Vivian Vance. Read the complete announcement.

While more movie theaters are opening across the United States and Canada, audiences aren't returning in droves. Disney and Marvel may be aware of this which is why they took the step to bring their upcoming films to Disney+ Premier Access. Marvel's BLACK WIDOW and Disney's CRUELLA will premiere theatrically and on Disney+ for an extra $30. In addition, the Scarlett Johansson movie was pushed back to July 9.
