Ben Kingsley isn’t usually menacing looking, but as the Mandarin in IRON MAN 3’s character movie poster – this guy looks like someone you don’t want to mess with. Take a look at the intriguing movie poster.We finally get a look at the villain behind Iron Man/Tony Stark’s possible demise, in the Mandarin’s full regalia. Actor Ben Kingsley looks like a cross between a military dictator in an opulent robe, Osama Bin Laden, and a dash of hipster with his aviator glasses.
There’s a lot of detail in the IRON MAN 3 character movie poster which reveals a lot about this villain. For example, military dog tags hang close to his throne-like area which suggests he’s taken a few lives. One detail not seen in the released poster is the Mandarin’s foot resting on Iron Man’s mask. Empire Magazine had the full poster exclusive with that disturbing image.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968.
“Iron by “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures and DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing and Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Charles Newirth, Victoria Alonso, Stephen Broussard, Alan Fine, Stan Lee and Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film releases May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
