If you ever wondered what happened to Agent Peggy Carter in CAPTAIN AMERICA after Chris Evans' superhero became a popsicle for a few decades, Marvel answers that question in the latest MARVEL ONE SHOT: AGENT CARTER to be released on the Iron Man 3 home release.  The short film was screened to a few lucky fans at Comic Con with actress Hayley Atwell in attendance for a Q&A. Watch a clip from MARVEL ONE SHOT: AGENT CARTER.

Steve Rogers' love interest and British operative Peggy Carter continues the adventure after we last see her in Captain America.  The "Marvel One Shot: Agent Carter" will only be available as an bonus feature on the "Iron Man 3" home release in September.  Last year at Comic Con, Marvel did the same thing with Item 47 in which they screened the short film for a small audience as a preview to the short film appearing on The Avengers home release. This is Marvel's fourth entry in the short film series.  It also marks the return of Dominic Cooper's Howard Stark, aka daddy to Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Picking up where the events of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER left off, “Agent Carter” tracks British operative Peggy Carter (THE FIRST AVENGER’s Hayley Atwell) as she joins the nascent S.H.I.E.L.D. organization. As she searches for the enigmatic “Zodiac” key, Agent Carter also battles her sexist, bureaucratic boss, Agent Flynn (THE WEST WING’s Bradley Whitford), who thinks women have no place in the secret-agent business.

MARVEL ONE-SHOT: AGENT CARTER will be available as a bonus feature on “Marvel’s Iron Man 3,” debuting on HD Digital and HD Digital 3D September 3, 2013, and on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy and On Demand September 24, 2013.
