Diego Tinoco Says Costume 'Heavy as Heck' in Knights of the Zodiac Live-Action Film

From Netflix's On My Block to a sci-fi anime adaptation of KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC, actor Diego Tinoco discusses his preparation and training to play the Phoenix Knight in the Toei Animation movie. The Latino actor also reveals his knight costume was extremely heavy.

KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC is in movie theaters on May 12. 

Based on the Saint Seiya anime saga, KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC stars Mackenyu as Seiya, Famke Janssen as Guraad, Madison Iseman as Sienna/Athena, Diego Tinoco as Nero, Mark Dacascos as Mylock, Nick Stahl as Cassios and Sean Bean as Alman Kido.

Based on the international anime sensation, Knights of the Zodiac brings the Saint Seiya saga to the big screen in live-action for the first time. Seiya (Mackenyu), a headstrong street teen, spends his time fighting for cash while he searches for his abducted sister. When one of his fights unwittingly taps into mystical powers he never knew he had, Seiya finds himself thrust into a world of warring saints, ancient magical training and a reincarnated goddess who needs his protection. If he’s to survive, he will need to embrace his destiny and sacrifice everything to take his rightful place among the Knights of the Zodiac.
