CABIN IN THE WOODS was shot before Chris Hemsworth's role as Thor brought him stardom. MGM shelved the horror flick for two years while the studio worked out their company's financial dealings. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" creator and the Avengers director co-wrote the script with CABIN director Drew Goddard and cast the then struggling actor. Whedon and the Aussie actor reunited for a much bigger project with Marvel's The Avengers.
In CABIN IN THE WOODS, Chris Hemsworth and four friends take a road trip to a remote cabin in the woods where they get more than they bargained for.
CABIN IN THE WOODS is in movie theaters April 13, 2012.
