Robert Downey Jr. returns as our favorite Marvel hero along with his love interest Gwyneth Paltrow, and sidekick Don Cheadle, and former director Jon Favreau as Stark's trusty right hand man. Director Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) takes over the helm from Jon Favreau. The Lethal Weapon writer brings new cast members Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, James Badge Dale, and Ben Kingsley to the mix. Marvel recently released new images from the movie which reveal Ben Kingsley as the new villain. IRON MAN 3 is in movie theaters May 3, 2013.
In the third outing as Iron Man, Tony Stark/Iron Man is pitted against an enemy who has no boundaries. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
