"Shame" is in theaters December 2nd.
In "Shame" Brandon (Michael Fassbender) is a young successful thirty-somthing living comfortably in his New York apartment. Apart from his day to day cubicle life, he seduces women while juggling doomed relationships and a string of one night stands. Brandon's controlled and routine lifestyle is challenged when his unruly sister Sissy (Carry Mulligan) arrives unannounced. Her disruptive presence drives Brandon into darker territory as he tries to escape her need for connection and the memories she stands for. "Shame" is an examination of a character who has all the western freedoms but uses his body to create his own prison.
