Director and writer Eli Roth ("Hostel", "Cabin Fever") brings us another horror film and this scare fest is set in the Amazon with THE GREEN INFERNO. Watch the new teaser trailer.
In THE GREEN INFERNO, a group of student activists travel from New York City to the Amazon to save a dying tribe but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage. The film stars Daryl Sabara (Sky Kids) and stars from "Aftershock," an indie film produced by Roth with Chilean filmmaker Nicolas Lopez. Lopez co-wrote the script along with Roth and Guillermo Amoedo with Roth serving as director.
In the new preview, the Amazon tribes are definitely portrayed as savages and could they be the source of the horror? But the Amazon is a scary place.THE GREEN INFERNO opens September 15, 2014.
