Anna Kendrick returns to her roots as a singer in the comedy musical PITCH PERFECT. From the looks of the trailer, PITCH PERFECT is a cross between "Glee" and Bring It On set on a college campus. Bridesmaid's Rebel Brown as always steals the show in this preview.
Anna Kendrick of Twillight fame first got her big break in a Broadway musical High Society which earned her a Tony nomination, making her the third-youngest Tony Award nominee in Broadway history. In PITCH PERFECT, Anna gets the chance to show her movie fans the other side of her talent. Beca (Anna Kendrick) is that girl who'd rather listen to what's coming out of her headphones than what's coming out of you. Arriving at her new college, she finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together, in the new out-loud comedy PITCH PERFECT.Elizabeth Banks, Brittany Snow (Hairspray), Christopher Mintz-Plasse also star in the film opening in theaters October 5, 2012.
