Mark Wahlberg once again taps into a true story for a starring role. While an inspirational faith-based film, FATHER STU is all over the map in tone and the storytelling is often lazy. You will, however, shed a tear because you are invested in Stu’s journey and the A-list cast.

Joey King's THE PRINCESS will be getting a Hulu and Disney+ release this summer on July 1. Set in a fairy tale world, King's Princess character must save her father's kingdom from the man she was supposed to marry but refused. If you’re going into MORBIUS for a comic book adaptation, you’ll be disappointed. MORBIUS plays like just another vampire movie rather than an origins Marvel story. With a predictable plot, inconsistent beats, flat dialogue and lingering characters with no purpose, MORBIUS is a huge letdown. The end credits feel like an afterthought that leaves you questioning your own sanity.

Moon Knight had the least additional photography days in Marvel history according to producer Mohamad Diab. Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and newcomer Maya Calamawy and the Disney+ producers credit that to the many rehearsals and table reads where they worked out the story and the characters. As a newcomer, Calamawy was the lone woman among the largely male cast and crew but she felt empowered by her colleagues to voice her opinions about her Layla persona. The actors and producers recently discussed how they improved on the MOON KNIGHT series by working it out at table reads.
