THE DILEMMA Movie Trailer Pulled After Complaints

The line in question was originally at the start of the preview during a presentation by Vaughn in describing electric cars, "Electric cars are gay. I mean not homosexual gay, but my-parents-are-chaperoning the dance gay."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, GLAAD is demanding the line be taken out of the movie entirely and in any movie trailers in movie theaters.  Universal has agreed to the movie trailer but there is no word if the reference will be left on the cutting room floor for the final cut of Ron Howard directed comedy.

THE DILEMMA revolves around Vince Vaughn finding out his best friend's wife (Winona Ryder) is having an affair with a much younger man (Channing Tatum).  The dilemma is whether to tell his friend played by Kevin James.

Hopefully the real life dilemma won't overshadow the new movie set for release January 14, 2011.
