Watch all the new footage and trailers revealed at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend in one place.
Wednesday Preview: Warner Bros. brought the adult cast of IT: CHAPTER 2 to their annual Scare Diego in downtown San Diego with Conan O'Brien as the moderator. The new trailer was screened for the press members and released Thursday morning to the rest of the world.
Comic-Con Day 1 - Tom Cruise surprised Hall H with an appearance and the first trailer for his TOP GUN sequel, TOP GUN: MAVERICK following the panel on TERMINATOR: DARK FATE.
The big news out of the Terminator Hall H presentation was that Edward Furlong would reprise his role as John Connor in TERMINATOR: DARK FATE. We last saw him in TERMINATOR 2. And you can ignore Christian Bale, Jason Clarke and Nich Stahl's John Connor version in the other movies - those sequels don't exist in this DARK FATE universe. While no new footage was released to the public other than what the Hall H audience previewed, Paramount did release a behind the scenes featurette.
Other trailer premieres at the San Diego convention includes the HBO series, "His Dark Materials" with James McAvoy, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ruth Wilson ("The Affair") and Dafne Keen (LOGAN). "Agents of Shield" trailer with the news that the next season will be their last.
Comic-Con Day 2
On Friday, the huge news of the day was "The Walking Dead's" Danai Gurira ("Michonne") confirmed she'll be leaving the AMC show after the 10th season. Ironically two years ago Andrew Lincoln also said good-bye to fans at Hall H during the show's panel. Her co-stars hugged their departing thespian in the same manner when Lincoln made it offiicial. AMC also released a trailer for the new season. Watch it above.
And if you're missing Rick Grimes (Lincoln) like I am, Universal Pictures released a teaser to "The Walking Dead" movie which will explain where the helicopter took the sheriff too after the bridge explosion. The short tease announces Rick Grimes' return only in theaters after an animated intro which has a helicopter approaching a city.
The Russo Brothers teased their next non-Marvel film with BLACK PANTHER star Chadwick Boseman at their Hall H panel. A new trailer was also released.
Henry Cavill made his appearance at Hall H to promote his Netflix series, "The Witcher" and a new trailer also dropped.
Netflix screened the first episode of their new series, "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance" at the Hall H panel. Mark Hamill and Taron Egerton also delighted audiences with their appearance. They also screened a behind the scenes look which you can also watch in the playlist above.
A new trailer for "Mayans" M.C." premiered Friday before the Sunday Hall H panel.
In non Comic-Con news, Universal made the announcement via Jamie Lee Curtis' social media accounts that there are two more Halloween movies in the works, and they claim it's the last of Michael Myers. David Gordon Green will return to direct Curtis in HALLOWEEN KILLS opening Oct. 16, 2020, and HALLOWEEN ENDS one year later on Oct. 15, 2021.
Comic-Con Day 3
On Saturday, television shows are owning the day. Trailers were released for "Westworld," "Watchmen," TBS' "Snowpiercer" and the first look at "Star Trek: Picard."
Picard isn't the only character returning to the new "Star Trek" series as the first extended preview sees the return of Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) and Data (Brent Spiner). CBS also announced a new Podcast dedicated to "Star Trek" fandom, a new CBS All-Access animated series titled "Star Trek: Lower Decks" which is labeled as a comedy. That should be interesting to see. And if that's not enough, they unveiled a trailer for the shorts, "Star Trek: Short Treks" and there's some creatures that look awfully familiar. Check it out above in the video playlist.
Stay tuned for some major Marvel news when the Hall H panel happens at 5:15pm.
