Frankenstein gets IMAX® make-over. In addition to modernizing the story in I, FRANKENSTEIN, the iconic movie monster starring Aaron Eckhart will be digitally re-mastered into the IMAX® format and released on January 24th. Take a look at the new movie poster for the Lionsgate release.

The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX’s customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.I, FRANKENSTEIN takes place 200 years after Victor Frankenstein's shocking creation. Dr. Frankenstein's creature now named Adam (Aaron Eckhart) still walks the earth. But when he finds himself in the middle of a war over the fate of humanity, Adam discovers he holds the key that could destroy humankind. Canadian actor Aden Young is Victor Frankenstein with a cast that also includes Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Socratis Otto, Jai Courtney, Kevin Grevioux, Mahesh Jadu and Caitlin Stasey
The action thriller is directed by screenwriter turned director Stuart Beattie (Collatoral, G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra).
