Spider-Man To Join Marvel Cinematic Universe and New Release Dates for Marvel Films

Marvel announced some big news late in the day on Monday that will have fan boys weeping for joy. Spider-Man will be joining the Marvel’s movie universe and as a result, Marvel has shifted their release schedule for other Marvel film through 2019.
Sony Pictures Entertainment will be partnering with Marvel Studios to expand the Spider-man franchise and most likely join the Avengers. Expect either the Avengers or other Marvel characters from the existing franchises to make an appearance in the next Spider-man stand alone movie scheduled for 2017.
The deal probably happened after one of the leaked Sony emails revealed talks were going nowhere. Once the public got a hold of the behind the scenes discussion, it almost had to happen.
Marvel also revealed new release dates for Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther and Captain Marvel as a result of the Spider-man deal.
