Golden Globes 2016 Winner's List: Latinos Win Major Awards

 The Martian and The Revenant winners at Golden Globes

The Martian and The Revenant were the big winners at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards with its director Ridley Scott and Alejandro G. Iñarittu each receiving awards for their film as well as their stars Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio. Sylvester Stallone and Christian Slater had great comeback stories with their best supporting actor wins Sunday night. A few Latinos took home golden statues at the Golden Globes too.

Alejandro G. Iñárritu Reacts to Nominations for 'The Revenant'

Alejandro Gonzales Iñarritu & Leonardo DiCaprio on Set of The Revenant

THE REVENANT received three Golden Globe nominations in prestigious categories Thursday. Director Alejandro G. Iñárritu received a nomination as Best Director and Best Motion Picture in the drama category. His star Leonardo DiCaprio also received a nomination for Best Actor in a drama. Iñárritu reacted to the good news.

Golden Globe Nominations 2016: 'Straight Outta Compton' Snubbed, 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Makes List

There were few surprises in this year's Golden Globe nominations with the usual famous names and expected movies making the list, but most will be surprised with George Miller's two nominations for his return to the world of Mad Max. The Australian director received a best motion picture and best director nomination for "Mad Max: Fury Road." However, "Straight Outta Compton" was snubbed entirely from the list although it was received well by critics and fans alike.  Check out the complete list of nominees.

SAG Award Nominations 2015: Usual Suspects Get Nominations

The Screen Actors Guild announced the nominees Wednesday morning for actors in motion picture and television. The usual names like Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren Christian Bale, Bryan Cranston and Leonardo DiCaprio return for a chance at winning the gold actor. Idris Elba received two nominations in each category. Only a few people of color are represented in this group, but the cast of Beast of No Nation and Straight Outta Compton did receive a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast.  Get familiar with the entire list of nominees.

Final List of Oscar 2015 Winners

Birdman was the big winner with four Oscar wins at the 87th Annual Academy Awards for Best Picture, Directing, Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography. Boyhood was shut out except for one win for Patricia Arquette as Best Supporting Actress. Instead Whiplash took the next top spot with three wins for actor JK Simmons, Editing and Sound Mixing. In the acting categories there were no surprises with Eddie Redmayne won over Michael Keaton for Best Actor. Read on for the full list of Sunday's winners.

72nd Annual Golden Globes Winner List

Richard Linklater's 12-year saga BOYHOOD was Sunday night's big winner at the 72nd Annual Golden Globes Awards with three of the major awards. Linklater took home Best Directing while Patricia Arquette took home a statue for Best Supporting Actress, and the film won for Best Film. Birdman took home two awards, but there were no clear winners going in and the winner's list is all over the place. On television, Showtime's The Affair won a pair of awards while Amazon's first acclaimed series Transparent was also a game changer.
