CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 picks up where the last one left off. The genius inventor Flint Lockwood now works for his idol Chester V at The Live Company, and he's right at home with some of the best and brightest inventors in the world, creating new technologies for the betterment of mankind. His quest to become the greatest inventor is interrupted by his old invention which turns water into food and churning out new foods with legs. The food-animal hybrids called "foodimals" are menacing the town once again. Among the creations are tacodiles, shrimpanzees, apple pie-thons, double bacon cheespiders and other food creations. New characters include a highly-evolved lip-stick wearing orangutan with a human brain named Barb. Chester's creation is a devious and manipulative.
The all-star cast are back to voice another adventure with food, but Mr. T has been replaced by Terry Crews as the voice of Earl.
CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 is in movie theaters September 27, 2013.
