CineMovie Attends THE LONE RANGER Bootcamp

LONE RANGER stars Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer saddled up before production of the Disney film at cowboy bootcamp where they were taught the ropes of horse riding and the art of the lassoing. CineMovie’s Sue Evelyn Gil wrangled up a posse of professional horseman and Charros at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena in the Los Angeles area to show her the ropes.

Toby de la Torre, a professional horseman and Charro, gave Sue tips to handling a horse in addition to mounting and dismounting a horse. With the signature look of the masked vigilante, Sue took to the horse with ease in her white cowboy hat and mask.

Next was lassoing and it started rough but eventually Sue got the hang of it with Tomas Garcilazo, a third generation Charro and skilled rope artist who has been a featured performer at Disney’s Wild West Show in Paris, France.

THE LONE RANGER is in movie theaters July 3, 2013.
