‘OZ The Great and Powerful’ New Movie Poster – Rate it

James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, and Zach Braff star in the re-imagining of Sam Raimi’s the Wizard of Oz. Disney’s adventure imagines the origins of the Wizard of Oz as written by L. Frank Baum. There is no Dorothy in this version. Instead Oscar, a small-time circus magician and scam artist played by James Franco, is magically transported from Kansas to the colorful Land of Oz where he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Oscar must fill the role of the great and powerful Wizard to solve the epic problems facing this fantastical land. The artistic and colorful nature of the poster is a little reminiscent of Tim Burton's art for Alice in Wonderland, but considering its from the same studio and producer Joe Roth – it’s no surprise. The one-sheet features one of the vixen witches in tight leather.
The Sam Raimi-directed film lands in movie theaters March 8, 2013.
