In trailer #2 for THE LONE RANGER, we find out how the Lone Ranger (Armie Hammer) came to be with the help of Johnny Depp's amusing sidekick Tonto who's apparently a horse whisperer. Besides establishing their relationship, we're glade the tone of the film will be humorous along the lines of Verbinski and Depp's last film together. We're hoping director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean movies) can bring some of that fun quality and stylized look from his last film, Rango, to this live action western. THE LONE RANGER is the fourth collaboration between director Verbinski and Depp. The visual look is quite stark with a washed-out look that adds to the story being told in the new full trailer.
THE LONE RANGER also stars Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter.
