Samuel L. Jackson Isn't Looking Forward to 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

Samuel L Jackson MaceWindu StarWars

Samuel L. Jackson has played some cool characters from Nick Fury in Marvel's Avengers movies to portraying the first black Jedi in Star Wars: Episode I, II, and III as Mace Windu. He's often said in the past he wouldn't mind reprising the role if by some miracle he survived or at least in the form of a hologram. At THE HATEFUL EIGHT press conference in Los Angeles recently, CineMovie asked the actor if he was looking forward to seeing STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. Surprisingly, Jackson said "No!" Listen to what he had to say.

Samuel L. Jackson has always been direct so we appreciate his honesty, but we can't help but think he would've loved to be part of the new Star Wars franchise. At a press event for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, John Boyega who plays Finn in Episode VII recounted a funny story with Jackson. Boyega says he was a party when he heard, "Hey black Jedi." When he turned around it was Jackson who added, "I hear you're my grandson."

Jackson doesn't have to worry about finding roles. The busy actor can next be seen in Quentin Tarantino's THE HATEFUL EIGHT in theaters Christmas Day.
