The Mandalorian and Grogu are headed to the big screen for their next adventure with production slated to begin in 2024. Lucasfilm and Disney announced Tuesday that Jon Favreau will direct THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Favreau serving as producers. The press release doesn't specify whether a fourth season of the hit Disney+ series will precede or follow, but most likely the movie will serve as the continuation of the story.

Other revelations include a more evolved Godzilla, referred to as the Shin Godzilla with his radiation heat ray instead of his atomic breath, a baby Kong, the villainous Titan, Kong's mechanical arm and a civilization underneath the Earth's surface.

The last time Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez partnered on a film in 2003 for GIGLI, the two lovebirds were roasted. Jennifer 2.0 is collaborating once again on a unique project. The apes are the masters now in the fourth installment of the rebooted PLANET OF THE APES franchise that will follow Caesar's son, Cornelius. Director Matt Reeves is not helming the latest film but THE MAZE RUNNER'S Wes Ball brings post-apocalyptic cred to KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.
