POPSTARS: NEVER STOP NEVER STOPPING is a laugh out loud funny view at music superstardom. Filled with culturally relevant humor, it also serves as a witty critique of fame and celebrity perception.
The comedy centers on childhood friends and former members of the hip-hop group Style Boyz - Conner (Andy Samberg), Owen (Jorma Taccone) and Lawrence (Akiva Schaffer). Now at the center of a successful solo career, Conner is one of the biggest entertainers in the world. Driven by ego, he decides to film a documentary that he’s the focus of. But what the film ends up being about is his fall from the limelight.
At a recent New York press day for the film, the three leads spoke about putting the flick together.

Chilean filmmaker Nicolas Lopez (GREEN INFERNO, EARTHQUAKE, KNOCK KNOCK) talks to CineMovie about his hit Spanish film, SIN FILTRO which beat out STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, DEADPOOL and ZOOTOPIA in Chile. The Spanish comedy centering on a woman who decides to tell it like it is will be remade for American audiences with a popular actress that Lopez can't give away just yet. SIN FILTRO screened at the HOLA Film Festival held in Downtown Los Angeles in May. His partner in crime Eli Roth was there to support his frequent collaborator, and Lopez clues us into what they are working on next and why they work as a filmmaking duo.
SIN FILTRO will be coming to Netflix this summer.

Dominic Cooper is already part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He played Howard Stark in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER a role which he reprised on the TV series "Agent Carter." Now he’s playing the lead in AMC’s new series "Preacher," based on the Garth Ennis comic book.
"Preacher" comes to AMC via writer/directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Sam Catlin is their show runner and Cooper plays Jesse, a pastor who’s lost his faith until a force called the Genesis enters his body. Genesis gives Jesse the power to command people with his words, a power which he may need to deal with vampires, assassins and other creatures coming to town. We got to sit in a roundtable with Cooper discussing the new show. Preacher premieres Sunday, May 22 on AMC.
