The family-friendly SECRET LIFE OF PETS boosts an impressive cast that breaths life into vividly sketched characters.
Max (Louis C.K.) is a terrier living a privileged life in New York. But when his owner brings home a temperamental canine (Eric Stonestreet), he finds himself on his way to the pound. With the help of a rebellious rabbit named Snowball (Kevin Hart), Max is able to escape his doomed fate. Little does he know, Snowball is expecting a great deal in return.
At a recent press day for the film, held in Jersey City, C.K. and Hart discussed getting in touch with their animal instincts, being a part of a lighter project and the role fatherhood plays in the films they gravitate towards.

Magic Johnson stepped out at a Hollywood movie premiere with his lovely wife Cookie to support pal Samuel L. Besides directing Whoopi Goldberg in THE COLOR PURPLE, Steven Spielberg’s films usually feature leading men but that’s not to say his films exclude women. Who can forget Karen Allen as the feisty Marion in RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and Laura Dern in JURASSIC PARK. Spielberg says he was attracted to THE BFG because the story centered on a female role. He looked to Walt Disney for inspiration in adapting Roald Dahl’s fantasy novel. Listen to what Spielberg had to say about Walt Disney’s influence on his work for his first Disney film.

When one thinks of Tarzan, a wild man in a loincloth comes to mind, but for LEGEND OF TARZAN, David Yates didn't employ the skimpy wardrobe for Alexander to play Lord of the Jungle. Turns out Alexander was disappointed his character didn't wear a "sexy loincloth."

If you have a show about demonic possession, you need an exorcist. For "Outcast," that exorcist is Reverend Anderson (Philip Glenister). He enlists Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit) to help him perform exorcism for the town’s possessed residents. We already saw one brutal exorcism in the pilot.
The demons in town also have to contend with the law. Chief Giles (Reg. E. Cathey) tries to maintain law and order but he may be in over his head. We got to sit in a roundtable interview with Glenister and Cathey to talk about "Outcast," from creator Robert Kirkman ("The Walking Dead") and based on his comic book. "Outcast" airs Fridays at 10PM on Cinemax.

Move over Nemo, there’s a new fish in town! Pixar is ready to make another splash when FINDING DORY hits theaters this Friday. The sequel comes out thirteen years after FINDING NEMO won it’s Academy Award and changed the way we look at creatures under the sea. CineMovie attended a recent press event for the film, and caught up with the stars of the film. Ellen Degeneres, the voice of Dory, did what she does best--making us all laugh hysterically. Ellen didn’t hold back as she talked about her participation in making this sequel a reality, her take on the possible lesbian couple in the film, and the advice she’d give to the six year old version of herself.
