THE JUNGLE BOOK director Jon Favreau continues the Disney legacy in a live action adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s beloved story first brought to life on screen by Disney animation in 1967. At a recent interview, Jon Favreau says to look for visual cues from the original animated film, and other Disney films such as Dumbo and Pinocchio. As a big fan of Walt Disney’s vision, Favreau also brought back Fantasound, a stereophonic sound reproduction system developed by Walt Disney studios and RCA for Fantasia, the first commercial film released in stereo.

Rush Hour is the latest movie to inspire a new TV series. On CBS, "Rush Hour" stars John Foo and Justin Hires in the roles that made Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker a buddy cop duo. The pilot shows the new Det. Lee (Foo) coming to the States and reluctantly teaming up with Det. Carter (Hires), and agreeing to work together on future cases.

In the movies, fans had to wait 3-6 years for a new Rush Hour movie. On CBS they’ll only have to wait one week. CineMovie got to talk with Justin Hires after the "Rush Hour" panel for the Television Critics Association. "Rush Hour" premieres March 31 at 10PM on CBS.

Canela explains the pressure behind playing such an iconic figure, and why he developed a bromance with Judas played by another singer turned actor Chris Daughtry.

"The Passion" tells the story of Jesus Christ’s final hours through a series of biblical passages scored by a handful of popular contemporary songs. At a recent sit down with Canela, he tells Cinemovie that the music is mind blowing and attributes it to the genius arrangements conceptualized by executive producer Adam Anders (Glee).
