Former Disney darling Bella Thorne ("Shake It Up," The DUFF) is taking her acting to animation as part of the voice cast of RATCHET AND CLANK, the movie adaptation of the popular Playstation game coming to theaters April 29. As “Cara,” not only does she play one of the tough-as-nails Galactic Ranger out to save the galaxy from an alien bent on destroying the galaxy, but that strength also translates to her real-life. The 18-year-old Florida native tells CineMovie she’s had to push back on Hollywood demands, and she’s proud of that. Watch the interview.

Mexican comedian Omar Chaparro partners up with all-American actor Joey Morgan for the action comedy, COMPADRES. CineMovie sat down with the two actors to talk about their odd coupling on set and off, and what buddy comedies are their favorites. Chaparro also discusses his first time playing it serious for the bilingual movie which also stars his buddy Eugenio Derbez's daughter Aislinn Derbez who he had to kiss in the movie. He tells CineMovie's Sue Evelyn Gil that scene was very difficult for him because of his friendship with her father.

THE JUNGLE BOOK director Jon Favreau continues the Disney legacy in a live action adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s beloved story first brought to life on screen by Disney animation in 1967. At a recent interview, Jon Favreau says to look for visual cues from the original animated film, and other Disney films such as Dumbo and Pinocchio. As a big fan of Walt Disney’s vision, Favreau also brought back Fantasound, a stereophonic sound reproduction system developed by Walt Disney studios and RCA for Fantasia, the first commercial film released in stereo.
