USA Network today announced a third season renewal for the hit drama QUEEN OF THE SOUTH. Starring Alice Braga ("I Am Legend"), the series is based on the literary page-turner "La Reina Del Sur" by internationally acclaimed author Arturo Pérez-Reverte. Season 3 is set to return in 2018.
CineMovie and a few thousand fans were the first to watch the first full episode of Netflix's THE DEFENDERS. Marvel television head Jef Loeb surprised fans Friday at the Hall H panel for THE DEFENDERS which brings Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist together to fight a new villain in New York City. The Lyon family drama comes to a head as they fight off the Dubois family in the Season 3 finale of EMPIRE Wednesday night. Last we saw the Lyons, there was some double crossing by Andre (Trai Byers), but he promised it was for the family. CineMovie recently spoke with EMPIRE star Jussie Smollett who reveals what's next for Jamal and the rest of the Lyon family in the season ender.
GAME OF THRONES fans should cherish every moment left in the HBO series as two more seasons remain.. shortened at that. The new trailer for the Season 7 premiere promises the war between all the factions we've been waiting for all these years. The preview is so tantalizing, it's a good thing we've got less than two months before the new season starts July 16.
