Two new movie titles join the Digital release library this weekend. Disney Studios announced its 20th Century Studios films, THE CALL OF THE WILD and DOWNHILL are arriving early on Digital Friday, March 27 because of the movie theater closures amid the coronavirus lockdown.

BLOODSHOT, the comic book adaptation, was only in movie theaters for one week before the national emergency was declared over the coronavirus crisis and movie theaters closed. The theatrical release was made available Tuesday on Digital along with tons of extras. Read all about it below.
WONDER WOMAN 1984 diretor Patty Jenkins tooks to Twitter Tuesday to announce the sequel to WONDER WOMAN will not stream but move to August 14 for a theatrical run. Originally slated for June 5, Warner Bros. and the filmmakers are not taking any chances with the coronavirus crisis which many have predicted will play out until the summer.

As medical experts urge the public to social distant themselves from others during the coronavirus pandemic, movie studios are taking precautions as well canceling new movie releases for March and April. Disney announced Thursday MULAN, ANTLERS and THE NEW MUTANTS will not be released as scheduled while Sony took action sooner than that moving the next James Bond film, NO TIME TO DIE to November. Other titles were also canceled, some with new release dates and others with no new date. Check the list below.

THE BATMAN director Matt Reeves revealed the first look at Robert Pattinson's Batmobile via Twitter Wednesday morning. Pattinson's ride as Batman is reminscent of the 1966 TV show Batmobile (photo below) with winged spoilers in the rear and muscle car feel. We're digging the new look.

James Gunn took to social media to announce the cast line-up for SUICIDE SQUAD. Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney are returning as previously reported. New to the cast are Peter Capaldi of "Doctor Who" fame, John Cena, Nathan Fillion, Taika Waititi, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY alum Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn, Storm Reid and others. There are a few Latino names in the mix which is always good news as it should be with such a large cast.

During Saturday's Disney D23 Expo panel, Kevin Feige screened a first look at Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow spin-off. The director nor the cast appeared at the event but they did appear in a pre-recorded message on the set. Instead Feige gave the audience the first look with four clips. SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME has surpassed all expectations to become Sony Pictures highest-grossing film ever in its 95-year history. Thanks Marvel. There's no doubt AVENGERS: ENDGAME contributed to the boost with the latest Spider-man movie being sort of a follow-up to the fallout of the last AVENGERS film. The film has earned over a billion dollars worldwide, and Sony plans to add to that sum by re-releasing the film Labor Day weekend with four additional never-before-seen minutes in an action sequence.

Saturday in Hall H at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige dropped some major news for Marvel's Phase 4 slate. Heads were spinning with the amount of projects the Marvel executive announced for the next MCU movie line-up and Disney+ streaming service launching November 12. The new slate is more inclusive with a female director indie darling Chloé Zhao taking the helm on THE ETERNALS, and a very diverse cast including the first Latinx superhero in the MCU.

Disney made a huge announcement Tuesday regarding their movie slate which includes their newly acquired FOX properties through the year 2027. They also laid out their plans to release future STAR WARS films as continue their winning streak with Marvel movies. In the schedule list below, the FOX slate includes the next X-Men movie, THE NEW MUTANTS as well as James Cameron's AVATAR sequels.

If you're a dancer and speak Spanish, Lin Manuel Miranda wants you. His Tony Award-winning play "In the Heights" is getting the big screen treatment, and he's casting for dancers. Anthony Ramos, the breakout star from A STAR IS BORN, will be playing the lead, but Miranda is casting unknowns in supporting roles. He put out the call himself in a video message. See it below.
