SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE is artistry at its best. The amount of animation styles is crazy, and the numerous Easter Eggs keep your eyes ping-ponging trying to catch all the Spider-verse characters. The stakes and visuals are intense, and it will require multiple viewings to take in all the overwhelming animation and surprising plot twists.

Disney’s live-action reimagining of THE LITTLE MERMAID is a beautiful rendition of the classic musical with Halle Bailey meeting all expectations as Ariel. The characters are much more fleshed-out, and director Rob Marshall takes some liberties with the storyline fitting for a modern iteration. There are some minor inconsistencies that detract a bit, but overall it’s a solid remake.

The tenth installment of the FAST & FURIOUS franchise is more of the same gravity-defying stunts and laughable dialogue but Jason Momoa fuels the action with humor. The script is also filled with fun moments that poke fun at the "familia" and the ridiculous car stunts.

Pulling double duty as director and supporting actor in AIR, Ben Affleck has managed to make a riveting movie out of a mundane story. Everyone knows how this story ends, but the cast and Affleck deliver a pulse-pounding drama with a lot of heart and gusto. AIR would make a great double feature with another sports-related film, JERRY MAGUIRE.

Anyone with zero knowledge of the fantasy role-playing game (RPG) will enjoy the fun adventure in DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOR AMONG THIEVES starring scene-stealer Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, and Sophia Lillis. On the other hand, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS game fans seem to enjoy the big-screen adaptation which is filled with Easter eggs and nods to the original source material.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA is the busiest movie of this Marvel trilogy with tons of distracting CGI environments. The sequel is one part STAR WARS and the other part GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY due to the heavy CGI work. Thankfully Paul Rudd carries the movie as the heart of the story but Michelle Pfeiffer and Jonathan Majors steal the show.
